With animation being such a fragile and fast paced industry this talk by Ralph Bakshi really struck home and made me realise how much more we can all take part in the storytelling process. Storytelling, drawing and communicating ideas is definitely things I'm going to work on improving.
Trying to get my drawing skills up to scratch and a discount for the self directed course at https://www.schoolism.com/ was too hard to pass up.
Hope that it gives me more direction to my learning and so far so good. Heres my first upload a head and body turn around from Alvin Lees front and side drawings.
One more thing im trying to do is less mindless copying from the examples and trying to draw them either flipped or at a larger scale to get the brain working!
Online learning is on the rise!
